Owner’s team advisory

From first options to first ore.

GENISYS Projects is a lean specialist team for mining start-ups. We stay with the owners from the PFS through commissioning — infrastructure, reliability, asset strategy and commercial oversight — so decisions made early still hold when the plant has to run.

A word from Travis

Project management, built for mining owners.

Travis Nottle, Principal. Competitive, high-quality project management — safe, on time and on cost — from the first options through to a plant that can run. Based in Mackay. We work globally.

What the owners get

The work that protects the outcome, not another study for its own sake.

Infrastructure planning

Power, water, roads, camps and logistics options framed early, then refined so they can actually be built and operated.

Asset strategy

How the plant should be owned, maintained and handed over — decided while the design can still change, not after first ore.

Reliability & maintenance

Maintainability, spares and systems written into design packages so start-up is not a scramble.

Commercial oversight

Order-of-magnitude ranges that tighten into a capital basis the owners can defend at each tollgate.

Geology, mining engineering, process design, environmental studies and construction delivery stay with the specialist firms the owners appoint. GENISYS interfaces with those workstreams so the whole picture stays coherent.

The journey

Same team. Six decisions. One thread from study to start-up.

  1. 01 · PFS

    Options worth taking further

A shortlist, infrastructure constraints and capital ranges the owners can act on.

  2. 02 · DFS

    A preferred case

Design basis, capital estimate and the operational readiness the study has to carry.

  3. 03 · Permitting

    Approvals that stay buildable

Practical inputs so conditions do not lock in something the plant cannot sustain.

  4. 04 · Design & procurement

    Construction-ready packages

Interfaces, long-leads and specifications that protect reliability and handover.

  5. 05 · Construction

    Readiness kept on track

Changes reviewed for operational impact. Spares, data and systems prepared before commissioning.

  6. 06 · First ore

    A clean handover

Commissioning support and a transition the operations team can actually run.

How we work

Lean at the start. Heavier only when the study demands it.

  • You stay in control

Each tollgate is an owner decision. GENISYS prepares the package. The owners approve, recycle or stop.

  • No permanent bench

The principal leads. Specialists come in for defined work, then step back. A junior coordinator can be added when volume justifies it.

  • Continuity is the product

The people who framed the options are still there when construction changes and commissioning start. That is how early decisions survive.

  • Beyond first ore

The same knowledge can support early operations performance and the next increment of the asset.
